Asseco Arka Gdynia is currently enjoying a long stretch of away meetings in the Energa Basket Liga. Yellow-and-blues have recently defeated Legia (78:85) in Warsaw, and this Sunday on the 10th of February, on Gdynia's birthday, will go to krosno to face off against Miasto Szkła.

Krosno are led by coach Mariusz Niedbalski, and are not among the greates in the League, winning only 4 of their 18 matches. Team's weaker form is the reason behind such performance (14th in the table) and is in search of new rotation options.

Przemysław Frasunkiewicz's team is in a wholly different situation. Gdynia are stomping through the season (15-3), always near the top among the PLK 16.

The strongest among Krosno are the US playmaker Jabarie Hinds (20.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 1.6 steals). Measuring at 180 cm, he has an average of points almost two times higher than the next in line shooter in the team, occasionally managing 30 (almost 40) points. Hinds is supported under the baskets by two of his countrymen, the center Peter Alexis (11.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.8 blocks) and strong wingman Jordan Loveridge (11.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists).

Additional points are delivered by the Polish: 200 cm tall forward Maciej Bojanowski (10.3 points, 5.8 rebounds) and a 1 cm taller Filip Put (9.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists). On the bench there is a mix of experience and youth in the form of Paweł Kreffta (5.3 points, 2.1 rebounds), Dariusz Koczkowicz (4.5 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.1 assists) and Adrian Bogucki (4.0 points, 2.9 rebounds).

Miasto Szkła is definitely an underdog in this fight. The balance of points lost and gained is also reversed. For Asseco it is 1591:148, while for Krosno it is 1438-1591.

The hosts are not the likely winners, but the injuries plaguing Gdynia the match might turn interesting. We will have to find out this Sunday, 10th of February at 5 PM.
