Traditionally the goal before the season was domestic Championship and advancing to Euroleague Top16.

Jagodnik & Nemeth out, Besok & Slanina in
The biggest surprise of transfer window before the season was departure of Goran Jagodnik and Istvan Nemeth. Slovenian, fans favorite moved to Dinamo Moscow after four season with a club. Hungarian had back problems which didn't allow him to sustain high level of play.

Donatas Slanina, who was one of the best scorers in Spanish League in the past years, was signed to fill the void after Istvan. Bosniac Jasmin Hukic was acquired from Ural Great Perm. The biggest transfer was inking C Turkish Huseyin Besok. 20 yrs old Przemyslaw Zamojski had quite good rookie season. Justin Hamilton, was supposed to orchestrate the team's offense, but he was comfortable on defensive end of the floor and was fired in the second part of the season along Coach Assistant, Jacek Winnicki who took the blame for poor Euroleague performance. Nordgaard got injured during the season and Rafal Frank was hired in his place.
As many as nine players extended the contracts: Filip Dylewicz (Tenth straight season), Tomas Masiulis (5), Tomas Pacesas (4), Adam Wójcik (3), Christian Dalmau (2), Michael Andersen (2), Rashid Atkins (2), Jeff Nordgaard (2).

No problem in the league, Polish Cup went the other way.
Prokom Trefl Sopot sealed the first place behind 21:5 record. Turow, Slask and Anwil had home-court advantage going into the playoffs. The biggest win of the season came against Slask Wroclaw just before Christmas. Donatas Slanina just couldn't miss from the behind the arc and his 10 treys led to 35 points. Donatas was hot in the clutch as well. His triple with 2 ticks left sealed 81:80 win.

Prokom lost to Anwil in the Polish Cup, 72:66 and the trophy went to Wloclawek. Former Prokom players led the way to the win, Andrzej Pluta had 15 points and Goran Jagodnik added 9.

Quarters - Polpharma as usual.
Prokom routed visitors in Game 1, 100:62. In Game 2 four starters combined for 62 points and Prokom topped Polpharma 78:66. David Logan had 21 points for visitors.

The series went to Starogard. After double OT thriller Polpharma edged the victory over Polish Champs. 107:103. Patrick Okafor, Ivo Kitzinger and Logan combined for 69 points. Red hot stads helped to overcome Christian Dalmau stellar performance, 34 points, 5 boards and 7 assists.

Prokom got their selves back together, regrouped and didn't allow Polpharma to claim even a quarter on the way to 93:64 win. Slanina had 23 points, Wojcik 14, Masiulius notched 10 points, 8 boards, 3 assists and 2 blocks., Pacesas added 14 points.

Semifinal - all the way against Anwil
Besok woke up just in time for the semis and led the team with combined 33 points, 12/20 for 2, 2/2 for 3, 3/4 for 1, 11 boards, 6 assists, 4 blocks in two games. Slanina, Dylewicz and Dalmau were assets as usually.

Wloclawek defended their home court in two subsequent games and the series was tied at 2 midway through. In game 3 Anwil hold down Prokom to 67 points while scoring 87. Zbigniew Bialek had the best game of his career in game 4 scoring 26 points and leading Wloclawek to 82:74 win.

When the series went back to Sopot, Prokom took care of business at home and topped Anwil 71:57 to put Wloclawek at the brink of elimination. Besok had excellent night notching 19 points, 11 boards and 4 blocks. Prokom Trefl defensive crushed Anwil's offense which made only 13 of 55 shot attempts.

Home court advantage was decisive in the series. Sell-out crowd once again helped Anwil and the hosts won 86:76 to push the series all the way to Game 7.

Prokom Trefl Sopot behind Slanina's 24 points won 88:83 and advanced to the finals for the fourth straight time. Where they faced surprising winner of the other semifinal, Turow Zgorzelec.
