There are legends among the Polish basketball clubs. One of them is definitely Śląsk Wrocław, who has been Polish Champion 17 times and has represented Poland multiple times on the international stage. Wrocław has suffered some organizational issues, which led to them leaving the league, but are back this season and on the 19th of October on Saturday at 12:30, they will face off at their own court against another legend of the Polish basket - Asseco Arka Gdynia.

Śląsk is led by Andrzej Adamek, for whom beginning of the season was not lucky. Wrocław lost 2 out of their 3 matches, loosing against MKS Dąbrowa Górnicza (94:98) and King Szczecin (73:83) and winning against HydroTruck Radom (111:95).

The yellow and blues note one more victory to their name, winning against PGE Spójnia Stargard (76:65) and Trefl Sopot (87:66), but loosing against GTK Gliwice (78:87).

That score places Gdynia as 4th in the table, whereas Wrocław is 10th in the league table.

The core of the hosts offense are the three long-distance throwers: US defender Torin Dorn (16.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.0 steals), Canadian Devoe Joseph (15.3 points, 1.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists) and the tallest of the three, measuring at 203 cm, forward Mathieu Wojciechowski (14.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.0 block).
