Gdynia Arena turned into a joyous place when Asseco Arka Gdynia defeated Legia Warszawa 81:66. The yellow-and-blues are off to face another challenge - Buducnostia VOLI Podgorica in the 7DAYS EuroCup. Montenegro's team will arrive in Poland on the 20th of November, Wednesday, and the match will take place at 20:00.

Gdynia is 4th in the table currently with 3 wins and 4 losses. Montenegro is in a much worse position, with only a single win against 7 defeats.

The yellow-and-blues managed to defeat Podgorica (62:59), while also showing their best side in their first match against EWE Baskets Oldenburg (78:74) and in an away match against Trento (91:80).

Despite their weaker disposition, Budocnost remains a dangerous opponent. The core of their offensive are three US players: playmaker Justin Cobbs (16.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, 7.6 assists, 1.3 steals), defender Scott Bamforth (13.7 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists) and forward Hassan Martin(12.0 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.7 steals, 2.0 blocks), who are supported by Montenegro players Nikola Ivanovic (5.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.0 steals) and Danilo Nikolic (9.3 points, 4.9 steals) and Latvian center Martins Meiers (6.5 points, 1.3 rebounds).

The best qualities of the guests are penetration and their long range throws. Budocnost relies on teamwork and can block their oponnents' throws, but is not as good at defense and rebounds.

It seems that the Podgorica guests are well within the yellow-and-blue's range, and the win may benefit Gdynia's morale. Let's hope that they don't underestimate their oponnent and please feel invited to Gdynia Arena this Wednesday.
