The yellow-and-blues are back to Gdynia Arena after a long break this Wednesday, 11th of December at 20:00 in a 7DAYS EuroCup match where they will take on the Italian Dolomiti Energia Trento.

The guests are led by coach Nicoli Brienza and enjoy an identical balance as Asseco Arka Gdynia after 8 matches - 3 wins, 5 losses, but have gathered more points overall and are placed 4th in the table, above Gdynia. Dolomiti lost recently 69:76 to Buducnostia VOLI Podgorica and 88:108 to EWE Baskets Oldenburg, but did pull a win 81:76 against Galatasaray Doga Sigorta Istanbul.

The team led by coach Przemysław Frasunkiewicz is not doing better. Asseco Arka Gdynia lost 61:73 to EWE, 69:91 to Unicaja Malaga and 61:78 against Budocnostia. On the bright side, they did win in their own country 85:68 against HydroTruck Radom.

The main offensive capability of Trento is handled by two US players: center Justin Knox (14.4 points, 7 rebounds, 1.3 assists) and defender James Blackmon (13 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists) as well as the Italian forward Alessandro Gentile (12.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists). They are supported by two US forwards: Rashard Kelly (9.3 points, 5 rebounds, 1.4 assist, 1.6 steals) and George King (8.4 points, 3.6 rebounds).

A major flaw in Dolomitis roster might be the missing Aaron Craft (8.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, 7.9 assists, 2.7 steals), who has been injured.

Both teams appear to be somewhat equal and may bring their fans a lot of surprises. A slight advantage seems to be with Asseco, who are playing at their own court, a recent win and their first victory over the Italians 91:80.

Please feel invited this Wednesday, 11th of December to Gdynia Arena to find out who will be the victor. We are Asseco!
