The first round of the Energa Basket Liga is coming to an end. Hydro Truck Radom has come to take part in the finish, let by our own former player - Robert Witka. His team has been nominated as one of the main candidates for dropping off. Meanwhile, Radom has started out with a nice 2-3 balance. Bad times came soon, however, with five losses which sent the team down the table. Rotation has undergone some changes - US playmaker Nick Neal has been fired and replaced by Jabari Hinds. The 28-year old has had the opportunity to play in the Polish league during the 2018/19 campaign, when he played for Miasto Szkla Krosno. Club leadership has also contracted a new forward - Latvian Robert Stumbris. As of today, Hydro Truck has four wins and ten losses, meaning that they currently are the third worst team.

Other than Hinds and Sumbris, the Mazovian team also bolsters Filip Zegzula (12.4 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists), who is enjoying his best season so far. The Polish combo guard is an expert long range thrower, with 39 out of 90 such throws finding their mark (43%). The border sees Dayon Griffin (9.9 points, 3 assists, 1.6 steals) performing. In the frontcourt play Danilo Ostojic (8.9 points, 7.1 rebounds) and Brett Prahl (8.1 points, 4.7 rebounds). Team captain Marcin Piechowicz stays the longest on the field, and who should definitely not be underestimated.

Our opponents remain the worst EBL team in terms of offense. HydroTruck puts in every second throw. Long distance is not much better, with every third throw being aimed well. Przemyslaw Frasunkiewicz and his team must concentrate on hard, aggressive defense, forcing the opponents into unfavorable throwing scenarios. Whether Krzysztof Szubarga and Igor Wadowski will appear remains unknown.

Will we be able to secure another win? The match will commence on 7th of December (Monday) at 19:30. The match will be available for viewing on Emocje TV.
