Asseco Arka will begin their rematch round with an away Pomeranian derby against Polpharma Starogard Gdanski. In the second phase, our goal remains the same - to win.

The first phase of the Energa Basket League regular season is behind us. In the 15 matches played so far, the yellow-and-blues have noted an 7-8 balance. Rivals have not been as lucky and as of today are the last team in the table with only 2 wins. Starogard, who won their first match in September (85:77 against Radom) could not repeat a win for the next 80 days. Unexpectedly, they managed to outplay Anwil Wloclawek (96:89). The loosing streak resulted in a change in the coaching staff - Marek Lukomski has been replaced by Robert Skibniewski. As was with PGE Spojnia Stargard, the "new broom effect" was successful, if a bit late.

A man to look out for in Polpharma is Trevon Allen. The US player broke into the lead of the best scoring player in the league, noting an 17.8 points per match with an added 4.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists. James Washington (12.7 points, 7.5 assists, 1.5 steals) also has the handle on the ball, who is noting the best season in Poland so far, with being the second best in assists and spending 34 minutes per game on the court. The Kociewian Devils also enjoy the company of Israeli frontcourt Joe Furstinger (12.4 points, 5.1 rebounds), who enjoys a 60% accuracy. His replacement is the Nigerian Peter Olisemeka (10.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.5 steals) and with Jack Jarecki missing, Steven Haney is seeing more action (14.7 points, 3.7 rebounds). Grzegorz Surmacz and Sebastian Kowalczyk are the long range throwers of the team.

A lot of rotational shifts are underway in the team. In the aforementioned Anwil match, Haney played a lot as the forward, despite measuring "only" 195 cm. The team is quick with changing from defense to offense, which sees a lot of points delivered in the end. We won the last match (92:90), but can we repeat that feat this Monday?

The match will be available for viewing on Polsat Sport Extra. It will commence at 17:35. Please feel invited!
