The yellow-and-blues are ramping up and are playing more maturely match after match. Asseco Arka Gdynia is cutting throuh both in-country and European courts. This afternoon Gdynia has fought against Start Lublin and gave the oponnent no chance of winning 95:66.

The advantage was clear from the get-go nad minute by minute it was getting larger. In the 4th second scoring was opened up by Asseco's Josh Bostic (18 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal), followed up by Adam Hrycaniuk (9 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists), Dariusz Wyka (8 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, 1 block) and Leyton Hammonds (10 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist). Arka took control of the court and pushed Lublin into the defensive. The yellow-and-blues were led by the team captain and playmaker Krzysztof Szubarga (6 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists). Gdynia was effective and defended well, which saw the fourth quarter end with a high win (27:11).

The next quarter saw Start regaining some composure. Gdynia was still in control, not allowing the hosts to get near. Wyka reminded everyone of his long range throwing skills, and was joined in scoring by Ben Emelogu (6 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist) and Bartłomiej Wołoszyn (12 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal). The quarter was slightly lost (19:18) but Arka was still well ahead in the overall score (45:30).

The beginning of the third quarter belonged to Bostic. The US player gained 9 points in 2 minutes and increased the advantage of the guests to 55:32. Three points were added by Armani Moore (3 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal) and Lublin was still harrassed by Wołoszyn, Hrycaniuk and Szubarga.

The last ten minutes made Start's weakness clear as day. Coach Przemysław Frasunkiewicz allowed Grzegorz Kamiński (8 points, 1 rebound, 3 assists, 1 steal) a go as well as Wojciech Czerlonko (5 points, 3 assists, 1 steal), which they both took advantage off. Marcin Malczyk also added some points (3 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist) and so did Devonte Upson (7 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists). The match was set and Asseco Arka Gdynia defeated Start Lublin 95:66.

The hosts did not manage to hold their composure and were dominated by the Gdynia team. Next match is up on Wednesday, 30th of October at 20:00 at Gdynia Arena against the Turkish Galatasaray Istambul.
