Our players did not manage to secure another win. Asseco Arka lost to Legia 69:76 at Warsaw.

Coach Przemyslaw Frasunkiewicz and his team did not have a lot of time to rest after their match with King Szczecin (95:74). Only three days later the yellow-and-blues went to the capital in order to compete against the third best team in the League table. Hala Bemowo remains unconquered this season, with Warsaw players winning in front of their crowd every single time.

The first quarter was fierce, with a slight lean for the hosts, led in the offense by Jamel Morris and Grzegorz Kulka. Thanks to their 18 points, the score for the first part was set to 20:17.

The second quarter saw Legia building their advantage further, but Gdynia was not surrendering. Bartlomiej Woloszyn led the attack. Adam Hrycaniuk gave two near-distance throws, as did Wojciech Czerlonko. That led to an even score (34:34), but Morris's spectacular three point throw set the record to 37:36 for the first half.

The break did not do any good to our players. The yellow-and-blues had a lot of problems in the third quarter. Our rivals used that to jump ahead with points very far, very fast. Thanks to Mikolaj Witlinski and Filip Dylewicz, we were only 9 points behind before the fourth quarter (56:47).

The last nine minutes saw the guests do their best to turn the match around, but coach Wojciech Kaminski and his team kept up. Grzegorz Kulka, Jakub Karolak and Jamel Morris crushed the dream of Gdynia Winning. Asseco Arka Gdynia lost to Legia 69:74. Warsaw, with their six wins, remain undefeated.

We will have to wait for another match. The closest one is taking place on October 19th against MKS Dabrowa Gornicza. Please feel invited to Gdynia Arena at 17:35. For those who can't attend, we wish to remind of the official TV transmission on Polsat Sport Extra.
