We are happy to inform that US center Mickell Gladness, measuring at 211 cm, has become the new player of Asseco Arka Gdynia.
Born in Birmingham, Alabama, he is the graduate of the Alabama A&M University and in the 2011/2012 season has played for the NBA teamst Golden State Warriors and Miami Heat.
Outside of the USA, Gladness has represented the Israeli Maccabi Aszdod (2015/2016), noting 5.7 points, and in the 2016/2017 he played for the BC Kalev/Cramo Talin (6.2 points). Playing in Estonia, he was the star of many a match, helped get the national cup and was the leader in blocking of the VTB league.
In the 2019/2020 season, he played for the Japanease San-en NeoPhoenix, where in 14 matches he averaged 30 minutes per game and 10.1 points, 9.9 rebounds, 1.6 blocks.
We welcome him to Gdynia and we hope that he will be a real boost to the yellow-and-blues.
